Lodi Father Located; Will Be Charged

Lodi police say a suicidal man who allegedly took off early this morning with his two-year-old daughter will be charged with child endangerment.
Jason Scott Bell returned home around noon, nearly 12 hours after he loaded his daughter in his SUV and told police he planned to kill himself.
Authorities found the girl at the Bell home earlier this morning. Police believe Bell dropped her off and left, then came home later.
The 22-year-old man called 911 early this morning to report a robbery across the street from his house. However — officers say he changed his story and said he planned to kill himself.
Police say Bell was drinking last night but was not drunk when he was arrested.
