A library with two pool tables and air hockey? Well, just a place might be coming to Tuolumne City – At any rate The idea will definitely come before the county board of supervisors Tuesday.
Supervisors will have a chance to review new plans from the Tuolumne Youth Center Design Team. The new library building would include the library and study areas, as well as a game room, a TV room and an arts and crafts area.
The design team is also hoping the board will find some more money for the building, since the current design carries nearly an $110,000 cost increase. The last estimate to build it was $640,000, but the current design carries a $750,000 price tag.
The board meets Tuesday at 9 a.m.
