Youth Center On Drawing Board For Tuolumne City

A library with two pool tables and air hockey is being planned for Tuolumne City — and will be talked about Tuesday by the county board of supervisors.
The Tuolumne Youth Center Design Team want to show the supervisors what they´ve come with. The building would include a library and study areas as well as a game room, a TV room and an arts and crafts area.
The design team is also hoping the board will find some more money for the building. The last estimate to build it was $640,000, but the current design carries a $750,000 price tag.
The Youth Center would be built behind the swimming pool on Main Street.
