A Red Bluff police officer was shot and killed overnight. Details are sketchy, but Tehama County Undersheriff Dennis Garton says officers are trying to piece together what happened.
No other information has being released pending notification of family members. Red Bluff is a small town located just off Interstate Five in Tehama County.
