Local Brass And Reed Band Benefits Arts Council

The Sonora Opera Hall was alive with the music of Andrew Lloyd Weber and John Philip Sousa.
In one of their last concerts this season, the 33-piece Great Motherlode Brass and Reed Band´s performance benefits the Central Sierra Arts Council. Band leader and Conductor Mic Harper says the concert is crucial because of funding cuts throughout California.
The band will be performing again during Sonora´s Christmas Parade the day after Thanksgiving.
