Fans of the “Harry Potter” novels and film had a year to save their money for the second movie in the series. They’re spending it this weekend. The opening of “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” is earning an estimated 87.7 million dollars in North American theaters from Friday through today. That’s the third-best weekend in film history led by “Spider-Man” earlier this year and is close behind “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” in its debut a year ago.
