Water Will Be Out In Angels Camp Thursday

Some Angels Camp residents will be without water part of the day Thursday while the city runs a new water line under Highway 49.
The city’s Judy King says the work is being done near Park Avenue and the highway, where crews will be running a new water line under the roadway.
The affected area will run from the bridge at the Highway 4 and 49 junction, south toward Frogtown.
King says the outage could last as little as an hour, but the city is warning residents to be prepared to go without water from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., just in case anything goes wrong.
