Northern California mountains are in their fourth straight day of snowfall. The snow turned heavier that expected today in the northern Sierra and a revised forecast has been issued. A snow advisory was issued for an additional four to eight inches today above elevations of five-to-six-thousand feet.
Rainfall equivalent of the storms the past three days at Blue Canyon alongside Interstate 80 has been more than seven inches. Today´s rain and snow is concentrating on the northern third of California. Forecasts for the coming week include some more chances of rain and snow primarily in Northern California.
