Two Stockton residents will spend the next four months in jail after forging voter registration cards.
Edward Burquet, 27, and his girlfriend, Michelle Corrall, 28, each pleaded guilty to one count of felony voter fraud.
The California Secretary of State’s office said the couple were election bounty hunters — hired to sign up Republican voters for $4 apiece. They were caught when voter’s complained that their registration had suddenly switched.
