Reno Upset With Home Depot

The Reno City Council wants to question managers of a Home Depot store over allegations of violating a special use permit.
Residents who live near the store on Northtowne Lane say the store is violating its special use permit by doing business in the middle of the night. They complain of noise as employee load and unload trucks.
A city planner says the store manager told her employees are working between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., which is forbidden under the permit.
The city reprimanded the store in 1998 for similar complaints.
Sonora is currently being considered by Home Depot as a location of a future store.
