House Burns In Tuolumne City

Sponsored by:

Firefighters are still mopping up after a blaze that broke out this morning in a Tuolumne City home. The fire sent one woman to a local hospital with burns to her hands and arms. Fire Spokesperson Deb Fish says the burns are not believed to be life threatening.

The blaze caused an estimated 150-thousand dollars damage to the home, which is owned by the Odd Fellows organization. Crews kept it from spreading to the adjacent Odd Fellows building on Pine Street. The cause is still under investigation. The fire started in the laundry room.
