Bus Attack Kills Two
There´s still no word on a motive for an attack on a Greyhound bus outside Fresno last night that resulted in a rollover crash that left two people dead and dozens injured. Authorities say the bus was traveling 70 miles an hour on Interstate Five near Coalinga when a man got out of his seat and slashed the driver´s throat with a knife. The driver survived. The bus went out of control, flipped onto its side and skidded about 500 feet before coming to rest in a cotton field. Authorities say a man was arrested as he tried to run from the crash site.
Emergency crews were flown to the scene and the injured were taken to five area hospitals. Sheriff´s officials say no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The bus was headed from LA to San Francisco.
