Half Acre Fire At Jamestown Elementary Contained

Emergency crews responded to a vegetation fire of about a half an acre at the Jamestown Elementary School on the 18 thousand block of Fifth Avenue yesterday afternoon. The fire was contained in under 30 minutes. Crews took just under two hours to mop up the area. The cause is under investigation.
