Standoff In Sunnyvale

Sponsored by:

A Sunnyvale man who held police at bay for four hours in a house full of weapons was arrested after he surrendered without incident. Despite the small arsenal inside the house, no shots were fired. Investigators say officers went to Todd Clair´s house yesterday to check on him after reports he was depressed. When they arrived, they found his wife outside the house. Clair went inside and refused to come out. Police set up a perimeter and a negotiator talked to Clair before he surrendered. Clair was booked into Santa Clara County jail for investigation of domestic violence and engaging in terrorist threats against his wife.
