Kidnap Suspect Back In California

Sponsored by:

A man accused of kidnapping a 10-year-old girl he used to baby-sit is held in a Riverside County jail after he waived extradition from Nevada. Glenn Park was transferred from Hawthorne, Nevada to the Robert Presley Detention Center yesterday evening. The 68-year-old man had been held in a Nevada jail since Tuesday, when authorities caught him traveling with Nichole Taylor Timmons on US Interstate 95, about 110 miles south of Reno. An “Amber Alert” was issued after the girl was reported missing from her Riverside home. She was found five hours later, hungry but in good spirits, and was soon reunited with her family. Described as a family friend, Park was recently dismissed by the Timmons family as a babysitter and authorities believe that may have made him distraught.
