Man Jailed On Variety Of Charges

Tuolumne County deputies have a 29-year-old man jailed on a variety of charges, after finding a gun and suspected drugs in his car. The arresting officer says he stopped Charles Torrey’s car just before 10:30 Saturday night and found the items after a check indicated Torrey was wanted for a felony.
In addition to drug and weapons charges, Torrey is accused of providing alcohol to a female juvenile who was in the car with him.
