The arrest of two Valley Springs men on narcotics charges has lead to the discovery of two drug labs.

Calaveras County Sheriffs investigators say 25-year-old Bradon Sturgill was taken into custody on a warrant. During the arrest, deputies found 10 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on him.

Deputies report 29-year-old John Westfall, who was with Sturgill at the Village Mart Texaco in La Contenta, was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm and narcotics for sale, among other charges.

A search warrant of the men´s two residences led to the discovery of a hashish lab at Sturgills home and a meth lab in a 5th wheel trailer at Westhills residence.

Law officials say more arrests are expected in the case.
