Tuolumne County deputies are investigating another incident in an ongoing vandalism problem at Twain Harte Elementary School. Vandals left graffiti on the north wall of the Manzanita Drive building and a bench on campus. The scrawlings included what were described as derogatory remarks about police officers.
Deputies are also investigating damage to a car while it was parked in a Fallview Drive driveway in Sonora. The rear window was broken out; and the windshield and headlights were broken on a car parked behind Van´s Cabinet Shop on Highway 108.
