DNA Produces Charges

DNA evidence has resulted in charges against a Salinas prison inmate in a 23-year-old Sacramento area murder case. Sharon Wilcoxson was stabbed to death in 1978 at her apartment in Carmichael. The defendant is 52-year-old Willie Thomas, a former neighbor of Wilcoxson´s who is serving a life sentence for another killing.
