Priestly Hits Wall In Kentucky

Sponsored by:

Drivers and race officials say actor Jason Priestley´s car hit a spot where oil had spilled before his crash at a Kentucky race track. Driver Ed Carpenter says he saw Sunday´s accident in his rear view mirror. Carpenter says Priestley´s car hit “oil-dry”, an absorbent material spread on the track to soak up oil left by another car. Carpenter says he saw Priestley skid and “overcorrect and go into the wall.” Officials estimate the former “Beverly Hills 90210” actor was going about 180 miles-per-hour when he crashed. Priestley is at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington in serious condition. Medical officials say he´s stable and responsive. Priestley was on a practice run at the Kentucky speedway. He competes for the Kelley Racing Team.
