Suspected Killer Ordered To Be Examined Before Criminal Proceedings Begin

A judge has ordered a Benicia teenager charged with killing his mother to be examined by court appointed psychiatrists before continuing with criminal proceedings.
The body of special education teacher Kathryn Scarpaci was found December 14th inside the trunk of a car in her garage.
Her son, 18 year old Patrick Scarpaci, is being held in the killing.
