San Diego Bay Gets “”Dumped”” On

Sponsored by:

San Diego beachgoers have vandals to blame for a sewage spill that has closed 17 miles of coastline.

Authorities say vandals blocked a sewer main earlier in the week, causing more than a million gallons of sewage to dump into the San Diego Bay.

Police have NOT yet made any arrests.

The closure stretches from the entrance of San Diego Harbor all the way to Imperial Beach and is expected to remain off-limits at least through the weekend.

The spill is the 18th to strike San Diego since January 1st.
