The search continues today for a US sailor who fell overboard from an aircraft carrier off the coast of Southern California.
Navy aircraft and ships have been searching for the sailor since he was first discovered missing yesterday morning on the USS Abraham Lincoln. A search of the ship failed to locate him onboard.
Commander Jack Papp, a spokesman for the US Pacific Fleet, says it´s not known how the sailor fell overboard.
His family has been notified, but his name is being withheld until efforts to find him have been exhausted.
