Highway patrol officers, firefighters and county road crews are all extremely busy this morning. Roads throughout the county are slick; several multi-vehicle accidents reported, most non-injury. Several schools are either opening late or cancelling classes. Columbia College is not among them. Classes as usual there. The storm is forecast to taper off overnight, and move out of the area tomorrow.
Right now, some bad spots include: Tuolumne Road, Twain Harte Grade, Highways 4 and 49, Phoenix Lake Road and Crystal Falls Drive.
