Former SLA Member Posts Bail

Former Symbionese Liberation Army member William Harris is free on one-million-dollar bail. Sacramento County Sheriff´s officials say Harris, who is charged with murdering a woman during a 1975 SLA bank robbery in Carmichael, left Sacramento County Jail late Friday afternoon.
Harris´s former wife, Emily Montague Harris, posted similar bail last Monday. Both are among five former SLA members charged with the 1975 shooting death of Myrna Opsahl. Opsahl was in the bank depositing a church collection.
Former SLA members Michael Bortin and Sara Jane Olson, also charged with the 1975 murder, remain in Sacramento County Jail.
