Demonstrators Support Both Sides In Mideast

Demonstrators supporting Israel and a rival group supporting the Palestinian cause were on the streets of San Francisco this weekend.
Demonstrators backing the Palestinians took their cause to a gathering across the street from the Stonestown Mall. Supporters of Israel gathered at Justin Herman Plaza for a peaceful but noisy demonstration. Palestinian John Shami says he does not condone suicide bombings. But he says they are a product of oppression and the bombers are trying to send a message.
