Sailors Remembered At Point Loma

Three M-16 rifles were planted upside down in memory of three Naval Base Point Loma men killed detonating ordnance outside Kandahar, Afghanistan.
The trio was eulogized yesterday by more than 200 fellow soldiers, family and friends.
Staff Sergeants Brian Craig and Justin Galewski, and Sergeant Jamie Maugans, were three of four men killed Monday while trying to detonate a cache of rockets. Christine Galewski read a letter her husband mailed from Afghanistan. She said she wanted his colleagues to know another side of her husband, whose death three days after his 28th birthday also left two small children behind.
