Deputies Investigate Weekend Crimes

Tuolumne County deputies are investigating a number of weekend crimes including break-ins to homes on Sugar Pine Drive and Highland Drive in Twain Harte and on Experimental Mine Road in Columbia.
An unlocked 1979 Chevy El Camino was reported taken from the parking lot of the Chicken Ranch Bingo over the weekend and a riding lawn mower was reported stolen from Sears on Mono Way in East Sonora.
Workers at the Christmas Tree Inn in Mi-Wuk say a woman guest took towels, pillows, blankets and light bulbs from a room.
Five tires on two different vehicles were slashed on Old Wards Ferry Road in Sonora Sunday night. Loss is estimated at 700 dollars.
