Forest officials call a wind-blown wildfire in Colorado their “number-one priority in the nation.”
Officials say heavy winds helped the central Colorado fire grow eightfold in just a few hours. The four-thousand-acre fire has burned seven buildings at a youth camp, two summer homes and a house. About 500 firefighters – with the help of more than 30 fire engines and seven helicopters – are grappling with the fire outside Denver.
