Oregon Asks For Forest Input

Starting tomorrow, Oregon forestry officials will begin running newspaper and television ads encouraging public input in the update of the state Department of Forestry.
Oregon State Forester Jim Brown says Oregon is following international criteria for forestry practices, and public input is important. The Oregon Forest Resources Institute was created by the Oregon Legislature in 1991 to improve public understanding of the state´s forest resources and to encourage sound forest management.
