Campground Employee Shot At
Calaveras County Sheriffs Deputies report an employee of the Wolfe Burro Boy Scout Campground was shot at after interrupting a possible burglary to the campground warehouse.
Deputies say a 23-year-old man threw a rock at the employee when he was caught inside the building. The suspect ran across the campground and met up with another man who allegedly fired three shots at the employee.
Possibly three suspects then fled the scene in an early-1970´s model Chevy or GMC pick-up. No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing. The suspects are being sought for assault with a deadly weapon charges.
