Boy Strangled, Neighbor Arrested

Authorities say a six year old Hayward boy found dead in his neighbor´s apartment was strangled. The Alameda County Coroner´s office says there´s nothing to indicate Alexis Martinez was sexually assaulted. The little boy was discovered dead in David Genong´s apartment on Sunday morning. He was last seen on Saturday, riding his scooter at a birthday party.
Genong was arrested yesterday morning in Nevada. He´s being held at the Pershing County jail and an extradition hearing is scheduled for later today.
