Calaveras County Man Arrested For Child Abuse

Calaveras County Sheriff investigators say 42 year old Scott Meyers of Mokelumne Hill, featured in an April 28th HBO television documentary in which he encouraged his teen-age children to take ecstasy drugs and alcohol, has been arrested on child abuse charges.
After a lengthy investigation, the Calaveras County man was arrested at his home on West Center Street yesterday evening. Meyers is being held in the Sacramento County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Sacramento County Superior Court. Possible charges for child endangerment in Calaveras County is pending the review by the Calaveras County District Attorney´s Office.
