If your name is Susan, Suzy, Sue or Susanna, the town of Susanville wants to hear from you.
Susanville officials are putting out a call to everyone whose name sounds like Susan, even boys named Sue. A celebration will take place Saturday for the 102nd birthday of the Lassen County town, named by founder Isaac Roop for his daughter Susan.
Contests for the oldest Susan, the youngest Susan, the most Susans in a family and the Susan who lives farthest away from Susanville will take place.
