Sponsored by:
Exactly one century after the Wright Brothers took flight in North Carolina… local pilots will be remembering that day. After a 9 o´clock briefing, an air parade including at least thirty planes takes off from Columbia Airport at 10:30. The parade´s route goes over Sonora, Twain Harte, Groveland and Jamestown, and is expected to take about an hour. Pilots from Columbia, Pine Mountain Lake and Calaveras airports are among the participants, along with pilots from as far away as Fresno.
