Teenage Hurt, Arrested In ATV Crash

A 15-year-old Jenny Lind boy was arrested on DUI charges late Friday night after an ATV accident on Golden Gate drive near the Highway 49 intersection.
The CHP says the teenager drove directly into the path of a 1991 Ford traveling northbound on the highway in San Andreas. He was hit and ejected from the ATV.
The boy was taken to Mark Twain Hospital with a broken leg and cuts and scrapes. The 39-year-old driver of the Ford, from South Lake Tahoe, was not injured in the mishap.
