Supes Look At Affordable Housing

Tuolumne County supervisors consider approving the county´s General Plan Housing Element when they meet today. Part of that plan is affordable housing to help ensure housing for lower income residents.
Projections show the county will need nearly 2,000 more homes in the next five years, with its current growth rate of 1 percent a year.
Supes meet in the County Administration Center in downtown Sonora starting at 9 this morning.
