Rain Doesn’t Stop Holiday Parade Fun
A little rain and cool temperatures didn´t keep hundreds of people away from enjoying the the 13th annual Angels Camp Business Association´s Christmas Parade Saturday. More than 60 entries rolled through historic town under gray and drizzling late afternoon skies.
Horses, antique cars, fire trucks, a brass band on a fire truck and numerous community groups marched, rolled and clip-clopped down Highway 49. Santa and his elves showed up as well. Santa and Mrs. Claus took time to meet the children and pose for photos at the Calaveras County Visitors Center in town before the jolly troupe zipped back to the North Pole.
