Chamber Christmas Ornament Available

The Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce now has available the next in its series of places of worship in Tuolumne County hand painted Christmas ornaments.

Local artist Doris Olsen designs the limited edition ornament and this year the depiction is that of Saint Patrick Church in Sonora. The wintry scene shows the church surrounded by other downtown buildings, trees, and huge, lighted Christmas tree in a setting of snow. The ornament will be on display at the Chamber´s Annual Installation and Honors Banquet November 20 at the Elk´s Lodge. Cost is $18.00 and can be purchased at the Chamber office located at 222 S. Shepherd St., Sonora. Office is open 5 days a week from 8 a.m. -to- 12 p.m. and 1-to-5 p.m. There are also a limited number of last years ornament available, the Church of the 49er in Columbia. Cost is $14.95.
