More Rain, Snow On The Way

Sponsored by:

The rain is back but wait, there´s more on the way for the weekend. A cold storm system dropping out of the Gulf of Alaska will push through the area beginning later today.

This storm has the potential of dropping up to an inch of rain in the lower elevations and as much as one-to-two-feet of snow at the higher elevations by early Saturday morning . The National Weather Service says snow levels should remain at the 5,000 foot level through Saturday.

Anyone planning to travel should be prepared for winter driving conditions. Chains were required Friday morning on most upper elevation sections of area highways.
