Local Motorcycle Rider Hurt

A Railroad Flat motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision with a truck yesterday morning.
The Highway patrol says 54 year-old Frank Lazzarino was traveling on his Harley along Mountain Ranch Road when a Chevy S-10 driven by 75 year-old Billy Simpson of Mountain Ranch turned directly into the motorcycle´s path.
Lazzarino was flown from the area by Med Star II helicopter to Doctor´s Hospital in Modesto. Simpson was not injured.
