Soulsbyville Fire Blackens Two Acres

Tuolumne County firefighters contained a brush fire in the Soulsbyville area this afternoon. The fire was burning off Serine Acres Road near Green Acres Road in the Mono Vista area east of Sonora.
Fire officials estimate the fire blackened about two acres. It was first reported at 11 a.m. this morning . One outbuilding was threatened by the fire for a time. An ambulance was called to the scene to treat a resident for smoke inhalation .
