Grass Fire Burning In Angels Camp

Angels Camp and Calaveras County fire units are battling a 1-to-2 acre grass fire on Tryon Court off Highway 4 and Highway 49. This fire first reported around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon.
Some structures were threatened but there is a road between the homes and the fire at this time.
Aircraft from the Columbia Air Attack Base have been released this blaze. A CDF helicopter is dropping water on the fire.
