Davis Says “No Spam”

Governor Davis says he´ll sign legislation that would make California the first state in the nation to prohibit Internet advertisers from sending unsolicited e-mails, known as spam. The measure covers all unsolicited commercial e-mail sent or received in California and imposes fines of up to $1 million per incident.
