Experience the beautiful colors of Yosemite this fall through Columbia College Community Education´s guided bus tours – and learn something new about this spectacular valley. The college will be hosting two upcoming excursions to Yosemite National Park: Wednesday, October 1 and Thursday, October 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days.
Instructor Jim Kindle, who for many years has led college tours twice a year to Yosemite, will serve as host and provide participants with interesting information on the biology, geology, history and Native American heritage of the area. There will be ample free time for lunch and exploration, so participants must either prepare a sack lunch in advance or purchase food at one of the concession stands.
Cost is $22 per person, which includes park entrance and bus transportation. The registration deadline for both trips is September 25; early registration is encouraged due to the popularity of the Yosemite tours. To register or for more information please call the Community Education Office at 588-5144.
