Grass Fire Damages Angels Camp Homes

Calaveras County firefighters contained a small grass fire just after noon today, but that blaze burnt into several homes in a trailer park on North Baker Street in Angels Camp.
The grass fire was quickly knocked down, but firefighters say there is significant damage to several of the homes. The fires were contained by 12:45 p.m. this afternoon.
Officials are now investigating the cause of that blaze and estimating damage to the homes.
