Two Men Booked On Drug Charges

A traffic stop in San Andreas lead to arrest of two Calaveras County men on drug charges. Sheriff deputies stopped 57 year-old Johnny Lee Sturges and 38 year-old Jeffery Cox on Court Street last night.
Sturges was booked on possession of methamphetamine and is being held on $18,000 bail. Cox was booked for meth and illegal drug paraphernalia and is held on $20,000 bail. Both were cited for several other misdemeanor charges. as well.
