Body Found In East Sonora

Authorities were at Highway 108 and Draper Mine Road east of Sonora Wednesday afternoon investigating a body found there. We have not been able to get more details from law enforcement officials at this time.
Authorities are said to be investigating if this might be the missing elderly Modesto man who was believed to have been in the Tuolumne County area.
Modesto Police say 64 year-old Andrew Longenbaugh was last seen late Monday night and had just been released from an medical facility Sunday for treatment of depression.
Police found the man´s car west of Pinecrest Lake, after an apparent solo traffic accident. Witness told police they may have seen Longenbaugh, possibly injured, running in the wooded area around Cold Springs.
