Fire Near Phoenix Lake

Tuolumne County and CDF firefighters are in the mop-up stages after a vegetation fire near Phoenix Lake Dam blackened about an acre. The fire, off Resort Road, was first reported around 1 p.m. this afternoon. No structures were threatened. Cause is under investigation.
