Worlds Of Wonder Ready To Hit The Road

The “Worlds of Wonder” book mobile gets ready to hit the road next week.

Tuolumne County€™s library on wheels will make its way to various neighborhoods with special preview visits this month.

Library staff will demonstrate the new on-board satellite Internet and computer services as well as showcase their selection of new books.

Some stops will feature children€™s story times.

The first scheduled stops Tuesday, January 7, will highlight area senior citizens groups. The “WOW” bookmobile will stop at Skyline Place in Sonora at 9:45 a.m., Mt. Springs-Sierra Foothills Woman€™s Club at 11 a.m., then Hillcrest Manor in Jamestown at 2:30 p.m.

The next day, the bookmobile will stop at Bellview School and Preschool at 9:30 a.m., Twain Harte Branch Library at 1 p.m. and Discovery Preschool in Crystal Falls at 3 p.m.
